Here's the same template with the border turned on (you should leave the new window on.)
Ok, lets get started.
-As always, lets first insert a table=100%
-Starting from left to right, the first thing we realize is that there are two main chunks of columns, so that's what we'll start off with. The cellspacing in this case is 2.

-Now looking at the white chunk, we can further distinguish that it is composed of two main rows-the blue row, and the white row. (the row including lots of text) Lets add those two rows in (by using insert table with two rows), and give the blue row some content.

-Now, looking further into row white, we realize that it is composed of 4 columns, two for margin, two for actual content holders. Put it in! (use split cells for fast results.)

-Lets put in the content for these rows.

-Lets put in the red part of the white row. You can achieve this by inserting a table of 91% so it does not cover the whole white subsection (see below for clarification) with three columns (each 33%, just use split cells), four rows. cellspacing=2

And finally, still referring to the above diagram, looking at the left black column, we could insert the yellowish left cells in a similar manner and completing the design.
-It may have taken us quite a while to complete this template, but the fact is, once you get the hang of columns, this will take less than 10 minutes.
-Note that we did not use any background images, yet it looks a lot like it!
